Bulk insulation

Bulk insulation is like a big quilt in your ceiling and walls.

In summer it stops the hot air outside from getting in, and in winter it stops the heat inside your building from getting out. This type of insulation includes:

• glasswool
• wool and rockwool batts
• rockwool
• polyester
• wool and cellulose fibre loose-fill
• extruded polystyrene (styrofoam)
• expanded polystyrene (EPS).
